Coastal Red Woods: short B&W photo series

Sequoia sempervirens. Even the scientific name sounds imposing. Coastal Redwood forests always fill me with awe. Something about trees that tower hundreds of feet up, and they are created literally out of thin air. No seriously, think about it. Trees pull CO2 from the air and use it that carbon as a major component for the make up of the entire tree. Fun to think about huh. Enjoy and leave a comment
